Sesame Street Live Tickets:
Sesame Street Live is a touring show based on the popular American children's television series Sesame Street. The performance is produced by VEE Corporation - an entertainment company with headquarters based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The first live show opened in 1980 at the Metropolitan Sports Center in Bloomington, Minnesota. That Christmas, the show went on to play for four weeks at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Thirty years later, the production includes three or four separate annual tours with different performances.
Sesame Street Live aims to provide laughter and learning to children. The performances include their own plot, scenery, and soundtrack for each individual production. The characters are well known by all children around the world from the famous TV show - Abby Cadabby, Bert, Big Bird, Cookie Monster, Count Von Count, Elmo, Ernie, Grover, Oscar the Grouch, Rosita, Telly Monster and Zoe.
Every tour has an eight to ten month schedule and usually starts in late summer and ends in spring. Throughout the years Sesame Street Live has produced 26 performances. Because the target audience changes as children grow up, usually the performances repeat over the years with some modifications. Currently the production includes three show programs - Sesame Street Live Elmo's Super Heroes, Sesame Street Live 1-2-3 Imagine! With Elmo and Friends and Sesame Street Live Elmo Makes Music.
Sesame Street Live Elmo's Super Heroes is the most recent performance in the production. Super Grover has lost his super-ness and Sesame Street needs a hero. Together with his friends - Elmo, Abby Cadabby, and Big Bird, start a quest to put the super back in Super Grover. They all sing, dance and have fun through easy lessons on healthy habits. The heroes discover how exercise, rest, nutritious food and good hygiene can save Super Grover.
Lately the production offers special entertainment for the children - Play Zone at Sesame Street Live. This is a fun new way for children to experience their favorite characters. Play Zone opens one hour before the show and is free with the Sesame Street Live ticket.
