John Edward McGee, Jr. is an American psychic medium, who is famous for his TV shows Crossing Over with John Edward and John Edward Cross Country. He performs the ability to mediate communication between spirits of the dead and other human beings.
Edward was born in 1969 in Long Island, New York. He realized his psychic abilities from an extremely early age, but started to develop and improve them after an encounter with famed psychic Lydia Clar.
His TV career started after the releasing of his first book One Last Time: A Psychic Medium Speaks to Those We Have Loved and Lost, edited in 1998. Since then he has released 7 mystic books and sold out over 2.4 million copies worldwide.
In 1999 he started his own show on Sci-Fi Channel in the United States and on Living TV in the UK. It was titled Crossing Over with John Edward and he was the producer and the host of the show. The production ran for almost five years. Since March 2006, he stars on John Edward Cross Country, broadcasted on We TV. He went out of the studio and started traveling across the US, giving readings to large audiences in public venues.
In addition to his own TV shows, John Edward has had guest appearances on Larry King Live, The Today Show, Entertainment Tonight, Live with Regis & Kelly, The Early Show, The Crier Report, The Tony Danza Show, The View, The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch, Fox and Friends, Maury, Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Wayne Brady Show, Dateline, ABC'S 20/20 and the critically acclaimed HBO Special, Life After Life.
Today, John Edward offers the audience different events, that can fit everyone's needs - Private Reading, Live Group Events, Live Seminar Events, Small Intimate group for 100 people or less, John Edward & Friends Intimate Events, The Five Events and Private Reading Groups for 15 people or less.
