Stomp is an extraordinary dance group that uses body and different objects to create unusual performances. This kind of performance is known as physical theatre.
Steve McNicholas and Luke Cresswell formed Stomp in 1991 in the United Kingdom. Currently there are several Stomp formations performing around the world. Most of the shows are played in North America and Europe. Although the show is very tightly choreographed and orchestrated, every performance is different and has own style. The formation usually includes eight artists who use everything from plastic bags, trash can lids and even a kitchen sink to hammer out a good rhythm. The show is a unique mixture between theatre, comedy and dance, united by the rhythm.
Besides the large number of live performances, for all the fans around the world the group released several home projects. Stomp Out Loud DVD was a special HBO performance, recorded in Manhattan. It was 4 times Emmy-nominated and combined the very best of stage show with new and re-choreographed pieces especially for TV. The DVD included the Academy Award nominated cinema short Brooms.
The production Stomp Rhythms of the World (US Title - Pulse: a Stomp Odyssey) was released on CD and DVD in 2006. It was a large format movie, made for IMAX theatres worldwide. From New York City to the American South West, Africa, South America and Europe this was a vivid toe-tapping experience.
In 2008 the DVD recording Stomp Live was released. This was the first time an entire show had been captured. The performance was recorded at the Brighton Dome in Brighton, UK, with a cast that combined performers from across the globe.
2011 marked 20 years of Stomp, from its humble beginnings at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 1991, through almost 18 years in New York, 10 Years in the West End, a Las Vegas special and with 5 productions currently around the world.

"I do not leave feedback often unless the service and/or product was exceptional. Just wanted you to know that the 3 tickets for a St. Louis Blues NHL game I purchased from your site were unbelievable. I knew they would be fairly decent seats when I ordered them. But, having never been to Scottrade center I was blown away to be sitting 9 rows up off center ice for around $60/ticket. We were so close, you could hear the words the players were yelling at one another. These were normally $127/ticket seats. The tickets arrived within 2 days of the order being placed, in mint condition, exactly as described. I will definitely use this service again and recommend it to others."
