Fiddler On The Roof Tickets:
Fiddler on the Roof is a musical, based on eternal values and Jewish religious traditions. The history of the production starts in 1964 with a Broadway premier and a total 3,242 performances in the Imperial Theatre, Majestic Theatre and Broadway Theatre. After several revivals (1976, 1981, 1990), the current Broadway production opened on 26 February, 2004, and was directed by David Leveaux, with musical staging by Jonathan Butterell.
The musical is based on Sholem Aleichem's Tevye and his Daughters (or Tevye the Milkman and Other Tales). The music is composed by Jerry Bock, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick, and book by Joseph Stein.
The story takes us back in 1905 in Russia, when Tevye's eldest daughter, Tzeitel, begs him to let her marry a poor tailor rather than the middle-aged butcher that he has already chosen for her. This is a Jewish family and Tevye must choose between his own daughter's happiness and the prejudices of the society. The musical is about the universal theme of tradition cuts across barriers of race, class, nationality and religion.
Throughout the years the production released several audio records. The last one, Fiddler on the Roof (2004 Broadway Revival Cast), includes the songs Sunrise, Sunset, If I Were a Rich Man, Matchmaker and 18 more tracks.
Film adaptation of the musical was released in 1971. The movie won three Academy Awards.
In 1964 the original Broadway production won nine Tony Awards: Best Musical, Composer and lyricist (Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick), Leading actor (Zero Mostel), Featured actress (Maria Karnilova), Author (Joseph Stein), Producer (Harold Prince), Director (Jerome Robbins), Choreographer (Jerome Robbins) and Costume designer (Patricia Zipprodt). In 1972 Fiddler on the Roof won a special Tony Award on becoming the longest-running musical in Broadway history. Throughout the years the revivals were also honored in different categories at the Tony Awards, Drama Desk Awards and Olivier Awards.

"I do not leave feedback often unless the service and/or product was exceptional. Just wanted you to know that the 3 tickets for a St. Louis Blues NHL game I purchased from your site were unbelievable. I knew they would be fairly decent seats when I ordered them. But, having never been to Scottrade center I was blown away to be sitting 9 rows up off center ice for around $60/ticket. We were so close, you could hear the words the players were yelling at one another. These were normally $127/ticket seats. The tickets arrived within 2 days of the order being placed, in mint condition, exactly as described. I will definitely use this service again and recommend it to others."
