The Rat Pack Tickets:
The Rat Pack or Sandy Hackett's Rat Pack Show is a live entertainment show produced by writer and actor Sandy Hackett based on the lives of Las Vegas' most famous entertainers; Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr. and Joey Bishop. Sandy Hackett's father, comedian and actor Buddy Hackett, actually knew Frank Sinatra personally and declined the opportunity to open for Ol' Blue Eyes. However, they became lifelong friends and Buddy knew the rest of The Rat Pack as well. The role that Buddy had in Sandy's creation of the show is that of the stories compiled from his time with them. In fact, recordings of Buddy's voice are used as the voice of God in the show.
The tale is a fantastical one in which God is not happy with Las Vegas and declares with the late Hackett's voice that he is bringing The Rat Pack back to life for one last show. The show begins with The Rat Pack in matching black tuxedos singing and dancing before Joey Bishop takes over to tell a few jokes. Dean Martin shows up with a drink and a cigarette next, singing and telling jokes. Sammy Davis Jr. then starts his routine off tap dancing, singing and getting the band to join in. He dances into the crowd and gives a personal experience to audience members before returning to the stage for a drum solo. Finally Frank Sinatra appears only to be interrupted during his performance by the other characters. Additional comic acts continue through the show including Sammy portraying the Lone Ranger and Dean as his faithful friend Tonto. With no genuine plot, the show is filled with comedy, song and dance that is sure to please audiences of all ages. Some of the songs that The Rat Pack sing include My Kind of Town, Drink to me Only with Thine Eyes, That's Amore, Get Me to the Church on Time, My Way, New York, New York, and more!
