Euro Cup 2012 Tickets:
The UEFA European Football Championship (Euro Cup) is one of the biggest sporting events in the world. The final tournament of 2012 Euro Cup will be held in Poland and Ukraine from 8 June to 1 July 2012. The qualifications for the competition were held over 2010 and 2011. The draw for the qualifying rounds was held on 7 February 2010 in the "Congress Hall" in the "Palace of Culture and Science", Warsaw. The matches will be played in four stadiums in Poland - "Gdansk", "Poznan", "Warsaw", "Wroclaw", and four in Ukraine - "Donetsk", "Lviv", "Kharkiv" and "Kyiv". The opening match will take place in Warsaw on 8 June and the final on 1 July in Kyiv. UEFA announced that BBC and ITV have the exclusive media rights to all 31 matches of Euro 2012.
The competition will be held between 16 national teams in 31 matches. The format of 4 groups of four teams will be used for the last time in this tournament. The competition format will change for the next edition in 2016 because the lineup of the participants will be increased to 24. Group A includes Poland, Greece, Russia and Czech Republic. Group B - Netherlands, Denmark, Germany and Portugal. Group C - Spain, Italy, Republic of Ireland and Croatia. Group D - Ukraine, Sweden, France and England. Poland will launch the tournament on 8 June at 18.00 CET against Greece, followed by Russia and the Czech Republic at 20.45 CET.
1.4 million tickets will be available for the final tournament of the Championship . UEFA will also implement a Tour Operator Program (TOP). This service will give the opportunity for fans to purchase travel packages from licensed tour operators and related tickets on UEFA.com afterwards.
For the third time the final tournament of the Euro Cup is jointly hosted by two countries. In 2000 the Championship was held in Belgium and Netherlands. 2008 Euro Cup was hosted by Austria and Switzerland.
