The Honda Center (formerly the Arrowhead Pond or "The Pond" or "The Ponda") is home to the NHL's Anaheim Ducks hockey team. The Honda Center first opened its doors on June 19, 1993, at a cost of $123 million. The 650,000 square foot facility has a capacity of 17,184 for hockey, 18,336 for basketball, and up to 18,900 for concerts with 83 luxury suites.
