AMA Supercross & Motocross Tickets:

AMA Supercross or AMA SX is a popular motorcycle racing sport utilizing off-road motorcycles on man-made dirt tracks consisting of sharp turns, steep jumps and various obstacles. Supercross races are generally held at indoor stadiums in large cities across North America. In the United States, Supercross races are the second most popular form of motorsport. Supercross bikes usually feature 250 cc and 450 cc technologies (and up to 500 cc displacement), other than Lites class that showcases riders on 125 cc and 250 cc motorcycles. Lites are split into US eastern and western regional division.

The AMA Supercross races start in late December and continue until the middle of May. The series consists of 17 rounds in the Supercross class, 8 rounds in the Supercross Lites West class (in December) and 8 rounds in the Supercross Lites East class (in February). Supercross World Finals are currently held at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) was founded in 1924 and has since worked for the promotion and development of motorsports and the motorcycle lifestyle. After World War II, motorcycle racing focused primarily on flat tracks. In 1947, The Federation Internationale Motocyclisme (FIM) created Motocross des Nations in Europe. In 1957 the FIM fully embraced motocross by creating an individual World Motocross Championship Series. In the 1960s, the European masters of motorsport began to export their racers in North America. Meanwhile, the AMA held several amateur and Pro-Am motocross races. In 1972 AMA established a formal National Championship Motocross Series. This was the year when for the first time, motocross race entered a stadium with the Super Bowl of Motocross inside the Los Angeles Coliseum in Los Angeles, California.

After years of hard work, AMA founded own Museum in Westerville, Ohio, in 1990. The museum released exhibitions like Those Fabulous Fours, Fifty Years of the Daytona 200, World Class Americans, 90 Years of Harley-Davidson, My First Bike, Excelsior: The Lost Legends, and You Meet the Nicest People. In December 1998, the Motorcycle Heritage Museum shut down in Westerville with the AMA's move out of that office building. In June 1999, the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum opened at the AMA's new location in Pickerington, Ohio.

"We rec'd the tickets in plenty of time. It was nice to know the day before TicketMaster started selling the tickets, that I'd "locked in" the two tickets I needed, by going through MyCityRocks Ticket Exchange. Just the peace of mind knowing I had my tickets secured, made me happy! And, my daughter, too. Excellent service."
