PBR Professional Bull Riders Rodeo Tickets:
Professional Bull Riders, Inc. or PBR is an international organization who's primary business is professional bull riding. It is based in Pueblo, Colorado. 21 professional bull riders established it in 1992. Their aim was to get the bull riding out of the traditional rodeo and to represent new kind of show. And they succeeded financially and in 2008 the total prize money was estimated at 11 million dollars. Bull riders from all over the world have become members of PBR, in fact, more than 800 professional cowboys hold a PBR membership.
Professional bull riding is outrageous and rough sport, which has practiced in America for centuries. The PBR succeeded to present this sport in new and attractive style, which combines the athletic force with artistry. Their sporting events always feature a cast of the greatest bull riders and bucking bulls.
Every performance is unique and unforgettable, but the rules are extremely strict. Riders attempt to stay on the bull for eight seconds. They are judged based on both the rider's and the bull's performance, with 2 judges scoring the man and 2 scoring the bull. The top 15 riders compete in short round and the rider with the highest point total from the event becomes the winner.
Every year, PBR organizes 31 US events that finish up with the PBR World Finals in Las Vegas, Nevada. PBR World Cup started in 2007 and is another major competition between twenty-five of the best bull riders from five different countries - the US, Canada, Mexico Brazil and Australia. It has been hosted in four out of the five different competing countries, the next will be held in Canada.
Throughout the years PBR's events were televised on Versus, Fox, CBS and NBC. In 2008, over 100 million watched the PBR on television, and over 1.7 million attended a live event. In 2011 was announced that CBS Sports Network has reached a multiyear television agreement with Professional Bull Riders, beginning in 2012. The agreement made CBS Sports Network the primary television partner of PBR with 27 live events televised throughout the year.
