MyCityRocks is a grassroots effort created through the dedication of members who want to make things happen in their community. We've become so successful
so very quickly because our members, like you, have played
such a strong role in fostering our growth. Everyone wins,
because the quicker we grow, the better able we are to bring
you exceptional ways to have fun and participate in your
community.
If you would like to join us on the adventure, there are several ways you can get involved:
- Become a MyCityRocks MEMBER. You can become a member by using this link to sign up for MyCityRocks in your city or one nearby. It is entirely FREE. Being a member means you will have the opportunity to learn about and participate in the activities which MyCityRocks is involved in within your community. As interest levels grow within each city, MyCityRockers can create and join special interest clubs and groups devoted to helping them get involved in enjoying their passions for things like music, art, food, sports, romance, and travel.
- Become a MyCityRocks STREET TEAMER. Street Teamers have the opportunity to help out at many of the events MyCityRocks sponsors, and they are instrumental in spreading the word about MyCityRocks activities both online and offline. If you think you might be interested in joining the Street Team in your city, there is a box you can check on the sign-up form when you become a member, or you can send us a note to tell us your interest, and we will send you additional details on what is involved.
- Become a MyCityRocks CONDUCTOR. Conductors become deeply immersed in orchestrating MyCityRocks operations within their city, getting involved in areas such as fostering new member acquisition, developing content for members, and organizing activities. While being a Conductor can be a lot of work, it can also be extremely rewarding in terms of making a difference in your community and expanding your own personal standing and visibility. If you think you might be interested in becoming a MyCityRocks Conductor in your city, there is a box you can check on the sign-up form when you become a member, or you can send us a note to tell us your interest, and we will send you additional details on what is involved.
Participating on the Street Team or being a Conductor sometimes leads to opportunities for compensation, which grow as MyCityRocks grows within your city. But it isn't something you should expect, particularly in the early phases. MyCityRocks is about getting involved and making a difference at a grassroots level... if you are doing it for the money, you are doing it for entirely the wrong reason.
How else can you get involved? You can help us by being our advocate for MyCityRocks within your company. Building relationships with corporate members and sponsors is critical to our success, and our corporate members and sponsors receive extensive benefits in return. We need your help in getting word to the right people within your company so that they can learn how they can benefit from getting involved with MyCityRocks. It also helps us out each time you get a MyCityRocks Shirt, order some AddMe™ Cards or tickets from our Ticket Center. And it helps you out too, because in addition to enjoying the product, we put the funds from the sale of those items back to work in planning future events and activities which you can enjoy.
