Founded in 1994, UniverSoul Circus, headquartered out of Atlanta, Georgia, is the world's premier African-American owned and operated single-ring circus. The circus boasts 75 multi-national performers with 17 circus acts and incorporates elements of humor and hip hop along with more traditional elements of circus entertainment. Each year the circus performs over 500 shows in 26 U.S. cities. Acts include the Soul on Ice Figure Skaters, the Gabonese Acrobatic Troupe, the Flying Chinese Daredevils, and the Ethiopian Body Jugglers.
