Simple Plan is a Canadian band formed in 1999 in Montreal, Quebec. The lineup of the group includes Pierre Bouvier (Lead Vocals and Bass Guitar), Chuck Comeau (Drums, Percussion), David Desrosiers (Bass Guitar, Backing Vocals), Sebastien Lefebvre (Rhythm Guitar, Backing Vocals), and Jeff Stinco (Lead Guitar). Since its formation, the band has released four studio albums, two live albums, two EPs, and one video album. Their music style combines elements of punk rock with pop. In 2002, Simple Plan released their debut studio album, "No Pads, No HelmetsÉJust Balls." This release produced three hits "I'd Do Anything," "Addicted," and "Perfect." The album was certified double platinum in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and Japan. The next studio project, "Still Not Getting Any. . .," was released in 2004. It became extremely popular in Canada and was certified four times platinum by the organization Music Canada. It peaked at number three on the US Billboard 200 with over 130,000 copies sold in one week. Four of the songs entered the top of the world charts, "Welcome To My Life," " "Shut Up!," "Untitled (How Could This Happen To Me?)," and "Crazy." In 2008, Simple Plan released their self-titled studio album. It debuted in the "Top 3" in Mexico, Brazil, Japan, and Canada, "Top 10" in Hong Kong, Sweden, Austria, Switzerland, Australia, and Germany, and "Top 20" in Spain, Finland, and France. Some of the most notable songs were "When I'm Gone," "Your Love Is A Lie," and "Save You." The band was released "Get Your Heart On!" in 2011 and three singles hit the charts, "Can't Keep My Hands Off You," "Jet Lag," and "Summer Paradise." The band has sold nearly four million albums in the U.S. and Canada, and more than 7.5 million albums worldwide.
