The Royal Comedy Tour is a comedy production created by famous comedian actress Sommore. The multi-city tour started across North America in 2010 and every year Sommore is supported by different American comedians. In 2011 the tour starred comedian D.L. Hughley and featured Bruce Bruce and Don "D.C." Curry. In 2012, Sommore headlines once again with D.L. Hughley, Bruce Bruce, Earthquake and Don "D.C." Curry, with some new faces like Corey Holcomb, Tony Rock, and Damon Williams. The famous DJ Spinderella, former member of Salt N' Pepa is also a part of the Royal Comedy Tour family. The success of the tour has been defined by the comedic innovations of its leading lady Sommore and a revolving cast of the industry's top comics. Soomore is the "Queen of Comedy," one of America's top comedic performers. Throughout the years she has appeared on various shows including Russell Simmons' "Def Comedy Jam," BET's "Live from LA," "Showtime at The Apollo," and featured on "The Oprah Winfrey Show." In 1995 Sommore received the prestigious Richard Pryor Award for "Comic of the Year." Another star of the show is Bruce Bruce. His stand up comedic talents earned him the highest ratings ever as host of "BET's 10th Anniversary Comic View" for two seasons. He also was two-time host for "Coming to the Stage," and his own "Comedy Central Presents" special and comedy special DVD "Bruce Bruce Live." Earthquake is famous for his appearances in Kevin Smith's "Clerks II" and Ice Cube's "The Longshots," as well as his TV role of Uncle Mike on the CW network's "Everybody Hates Chris." he also makes guest appearances on Mad TV and Howard TV. Mark Curry is best known as the star of the ABC sitcom "Hangin' with Mr. Cooper," and as one of the various hosts of the syndicated series "It's Showtime at the Apollo." Tony Rock has had numerous appearances on "The Howard Stern Show," and "The D'Angelo Show." He also co-starred on the sitcoms "All of Us," and "Everybody Hates Chris." He has hosted "The Funny Spot" on TV One and has his own television series, a sketch comedy show called "The Tony Rock Project" on MyNetworkTV.
