Rise Against Tickets

Rise Against is an American punk rock band. It was formed in 1999 in Chicago, Illinois, by Tim Mcllrath (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Joe Principe (bass guitar, backing vocals), Toni Tintari (drums), and Mr. Precision - Dan Wleklinski (lead guitar, backing vocals). After several gigs Tintari quit the band and was replaced by Dan Lumley. Their first studio album was recorded in 2001. "The Unraveling" was an amazingly good debut with big underground success. In 2005 the album was reissued on CD format and digital download. In 2003 Rise Against released their album "Revolutions per Minute." Their second album featured 12 tracks. The first two studio albums were released under the independent record label Fat Wreck Chords. In 2003 Rise Against signed a contract with Geffen Records. Their next studio album was "Siren Song of the Counter Culture" and was released in 2004. Rise Against, known for their strong political slant, toured steadily after the album's release. The single "Swing Life Away" reached number 12 on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks. The album has been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America and platinum by the Music Canada. The next two studio projects were the same. In 2006 "The Sufferer & the Witness" came out. It debuted at number 10 on the Billboard 200. The UK version of their 2006 release featured one bonus track "Built To Last." The album "Appeal to Reason" was released in 2008. It peaked at number three on the Billboard 200 chart, selling 64,700 copies in one week. Their sixth album, "Endgame," was released early in 2011.
