"MythBusters Live" is a stage show starring Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage based on their wildly popular television series "Mythbusters." The show is a science entertainment TV show created and produced by Australia's Beyond Television Productions for the Discovery Channel and features special effects experts Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman, who use elements of the scientific method to test the validity of rumors, myths, movie scenes, adages, internet videos and news stories. The live stage show "MythBusters Behind the Myths" is an unexpected evening of on-stage experiments, audience participation, rocking video and behind-the-scenes stories. The fans have the opportunity to join on stage and assist the team in its mind-twisting and not always orthodox approach to science. The creative team includes only professionals, Jamie Hyneman is the owner of "M5 Industries," an effects company specializing in problematic custom builds. Hyneman started his career in show business as a special effects shop assistant in New York and later in San Francisco as a crew member on films including "Robocop," "Arachnophobia," and "Naked Lunch." Adam Savage worked for different theatrical productions as a set designer, prop master, art director, and producer. Later he became a specialist in the sphere of welding, pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics and robot-building. He joined "M5 Industries" in 2002. Jim Millan is the creative director of the show. His resume includes productions in over 17 languages and 35 countries, seen by over 10 million people. Sean Nieuwenhuis is the projection designer, and Rob Bissinger is the set designer, who has been designing scenery for the theatre for over 10 years. This unique show is produced by MagicSpace Entertainment.
