Keith Sweat is an American R&B singer and songwriter, born in Harlem, New York City, in 1961. His first steps in the musical world he made in 1975 by joining a Harlem band called "Jamilah." His debut studio album, "Make It Last Forever," was released in 1987. The album sold over three million copies and produced the hits "I Want Her," "Something Just Ain't Right," "Make It Last Forever," and "Don't Stop Your Love." The album "I'll Give All My Love To You" was released in 1990. It hit number 1 on the Top R&B albums chart. Four of the singles turned into Top 10 hits "Make You Sweat," "Merry-Go-Round," "I'll Give All My Love to You," and "Your Love." "Keep It Comin'" debuted in the Top 20 of the album chart right after the release in 1991. The title track was another number one R&B hit. By the end of the decade Keith Sweat released three more number one albums: "Get Up on It" (1994), "Keith Sweat" (1996), "Still in the Game" (1998). Since 1987, all of his albums were certified at least Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), for shipments of a million copies in the United States. Keith Sweat's seventh album, "Didn't See Me Coming," was recorded in 2000. It peaked at number 16 on US Billboard 200. The edition was certified Gold by RIAA. In 2002, Sweat released his next solo studio project "Rebirth." The album reached number 7 on the US Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, and number 14 on the US Billboard 200. The single "One on One" peaked at number 44 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. In 2008 he released "Just Me." It was Sweat's sixth number one R&B album. Two years later, in 2010, "Ridin' Solo" was released. It debuted at number 13 on the Billboard 200. The latest studio production of the artist was released in 2011 "Til the Morning."
