Justice is a French electro-duo, consisting of Gaspard Auge and Xavier de Rosnay. Their unique style blends a mix of electronic beats and classic rock. The official debut of the duo was in 2005 with the release of the EP "Waters of Nazareth." Over the course of almost seven years Gaspard Auge and Xavier de Rosnay have released two studio albums, one live album, and nine EPs. Several of Justice's songs are used in movies and TV series like "Top Gear," "Stoked On Being Pumped," "27 Dresses," "Meet the Spartans," and "Hitman." In 2007 the French duo released their first studio album -"Cross." It's said that they sampled over 400 records on the album. In the first track, "Genesis," there are short and almost unrecognizable samples of Slipknot, Queen, and 50 Cent. The album charted in France, England, Norway, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, and Germany. It was certified gold in the UK in 2011, for shipments of 100,000 copies. In October 2011, after three years of touring for their debut album, Justice released their second studio album "Audio, Video, Disco," which was inspired by the stadium rock acts of the past: The Who, Black Sabbath, and Led Zeppelin. Since 2005 Gaspard Auge and Xavier de Rosnay have received numerous awards. In 2006 and 2007 the duo received three MTV Europe Music Awards for "Best Video" ("We Are Your Friends", "D.A.N.C.E.") and for "Best French Act." In 2008 they were awarded with Victoires de la Musique for "Best Electronic/Dance Act". In 2009 Justice received a Grammy Award for "Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical" ("Electric Feel").
