Jerry Seinfeld Tickets
Jarome Allen "Jerry" Seinfeld is an American stand-up comedian, actor and writer with a successful career in TV and movie business.
 
He was born in 1954 in New York City. His first steps in stand-up comedy were several brief stints in college productions. His professional career started in 1976 after an appearance on "Rodney Dangerfield" HBO special. In 1979 appeared four times as Frankie on "Benson" sitcom, but was fired from the show due to creative differences. In 1981 he was a guest with a successful spot on "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson" and after that starred on "The Merv Griffin Show".
 
In 1989, together with the famous actor and writer Larry David, Jerry Seinfeld created a new production for NBC, titled "The Seinfeld Chronicles". Later the situation comedy was renamed to "Seinfeld" and by its fourth season had become the most popular and loved TV show in America. The sitcom was on air till 1998. Jerry Seinfeld was co-writer and in the final two seasons became also a co-executive producer.
 
In 1998 Jerry Seinfeld released his CD "I'm Telling You For the Last Time". The special aired live on HBO on August 9, 1998 from the Broadhurst Theatre in New York City. The record was nominated for a 1999 Grammy Award for "Best Spoken Comedy Album". Throughout the years Jerry Seinfeld released a couple of books. In 1993 the book "SeinLanguage" became a number one New York Times bestseller. In 2002 he released a children's book, titled "Halloween".
 
Jerry Seinfeld's movie career includes the productions: "The Ratings Game" (1984), "Pros & Cons" (1999), "Comedian" (2002), "A Uniform Used to Mean Something" (2004), "Hindsight is 20/20" (2004) and produced, co-written and voiced "Barry B. Benson" in "Bee Movie".
 
In 2007, "Forbes Magazine" reported his earnings to be approximately $60 million.
