Jacqueline Marie "Jackie" Evancho is an extremely talented American youngster with an extraordinary voice. Described as a classical crossover artist, she was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 2000. She became an "America's Got Talent" sensation in 2010, with her performance on the television talent contest. In spite of her tender age, she surprised the audience with her mature operatic voice. Soon this little girl turned into a famous star not only in US, but all around the world. Jackie released her first studio album in 2009 "Prelude to a Dream." The independent album was noticed by the critics and fans after her appearance on the TV show "America's Got Talent." The record featured covers of classical songs such as Andrea Bocelli's "Con te partiro" and "The Prayer," Josh Groban's "To Where You Are," and Martina McBride's "Concrete Angel." In 2010 Jackie Evancho recorded the Christmas EP "O Holy Night." The release debuted at number 2 on the Billboard 200, at number one on the Classical Albums Chart, and peaked at number two on the Billboard Holiday Albums chart. It was certified platinum in Canada and US. She released two full-length albums in 2011. "Dream With Me" debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart, at number one on the Billboard's US Classical Chart, and was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America. She released collaborations with artists as Susan Boyle and Barbra Streisand. "Heavenly Christmas" was released on November 1, 2011. Jackie was accompanied by the Orchestra of St. Luke's and the New York Chorus of St. Cecilia, conducted by Rob Mounsey. The record became a hit in US and Canada. In 2012 Jackie Evancho makes her film debut as an actress in "The Company You Keep," playing Robert Redford's daughter. The cast also includes Susan Sarandon, Shia LeBeouf, Terrance Howard, Anna Kendrick, Nick Nolte and Stanley Tucci.
