George Strait Tickets

George Strait is an American country singer and actor. He was born in 1952 in Poteet, Texas. His career started in the early 1980s and throughout the years he has sold over 69 million copies of his 33 different platinum or multi-platinum albums, which accounts for the most RIAA platinum certifications in country music. In 1981 Strait released his first single, "Unwound," and immediately reached the Top 10 of the Hot Country Songs chart. His first album was titled "Strait Country" and was released under MCA Records and would set the framework of his traditional style. The album "Strait from the Heart" was recorded in 1982. The record boasted George Straits' country music career and was followed by a string of Top Ten hits. Since then, every year was marked by his incredible prowess with releasing hit songs. His number one hit songs include "Unwound," "Fool Hearted Memory,""You Look So Good in Love," "Does Fort Worth Ever Cross Your Mind," "The Chair," "Nobody in His Right Mind Would've Left Her," "All My Exes Live in Texas," "Baby Blue," "Ace in the Hole," "Love Without End, Amen," "If I Know Me," "Easy Come, Easy Go," "The Big One," "Carried Away," "One Night at a Time," "I Just Want to Dance with You," "Write This Down," "Living and Living Well," "It Just Comes Natural," and "I Saw God Today" among others. The album "Here For A Good Time" was released in 2011. It was co-produced by Strait and his longtime friend and legendary producer Tony Brown. This was his eighth consecutive studio album to debut at number 1 on the Top Country Album chart and his 24th overall number one album. George Strait's career as an actor started in 1982 when he had a bit part in the film "Soldier." In 1992, Strait made his first movie, "Pure Country," which featured him in the lead role. In 2002 he appeared as himself in "Grand Champion."
