Brad Douglas Paisley is an American country music star. He was born in 1972 in Wheeling, West Virginia. He is a singer, songwriter and musician and has been a famous performer since he was a teenager. Brad Paisley wrote his first song "Born On Christmas Day" at the age of 12. This song in fact launched his career. His performance was noticed by the program director of the local radio station in Wheeling and Brad Paisley was invited to be a guest on Jamboree USA, a famous American radio show for country music. For the next eight years, the young musician was a member of the show's weekly lineup. Later he became the youngest person included into the Jamboree USA Hall of Fame. Brad Paisley's debut album, "Who Needs Pictures," was released in 1999. The next year this record became number one on the "Billboard Heatseekers Chart." The album was certified platinum by the "Recording Industry Association in America" (RIAA). The album "Part II" was released in 2001. It included 13 songs and 10 of them were co-written by Paisley. The album reached number 3 on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart and was also certified platinum by the RIAA. In 2001 the talented musician joined the Grand Ole Opry, a weekly country music concert in Nashville, Tennessee, that presented the biggest stars of that genre. In 2003 Paisley released the album "Mud on the Tires." It was his first double-platinum album. After a tour around the U.S., Brad Paisley returned to the studio to record his next unforgettable album "Time Well Wasted" in 2005. It included two duets "When I Get Where I'm Going" with Dolly Parton and "Out in the Parking Lot" with Alan Jackson. This album became certified double-platinum certification. In 2006 Paisley released "Brad Paisley Christmas." The album combined traditional and contemporary country holiday songs. It was followed by "5th Gear," which stayed number one on the Billboard Top Country Albums for four weeks. Paisley continues to release a new album each year with "Play," "American Saturday Night," "Hits Alive," and "This is Country Music."
