Big Time Rush Tickets:

Big Time Rush is an American boy band started initially as a fictional band for a television show. The group started from the Nickelodeon sitcom of the same name, created by Scott Fellows. The show is about four hockey friends from Minnesota, who get the opportunity to become famous when they successfully try out to be the "next great boy band." They move to Los Angeles, California, where they live at the Palm Woods Hotel and attend Palm Woods School, a special school just for actors, actresses, singers, and other performers. The production incorporates original music created for the show, by a partnership between Nickelodeon and Sony Music to produce the series. Soon fans of the show wanted to see the guys perform which spurred a national tour for the band. The lineup includes Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Carlos Pena Jr. and Logan Henderson. The boys released their first single "Big Time Rush" in 2009. The album, titled "B.T.R.," was released in 2010. Only a week after the release the album reached number three on the "Billboard 200." Their smash single "Boyfriend" was released in 2011 and peaked at number seventy two on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming their most successful song to date. The band recorded several covers of the song featuring different artists like Snoop Dogg and New Boyz. The boys of Big Time Rush made their network TV debut with a performance on "The Today Show," the number one rated national morning show, on October 11, 2011. Almost a year after their first release, Big Time Rush released their second album, "Elevate," on November 21, 2011. The album included 12 songs. For the 2011 Christmas holidays, the band released acoustic versions of their songs "Beautiful Christmas" and "Stuck," recorded at the AOL Music's studio.
