Megadeth Tickets:

Megadeth is an American trash metal band with 13 hard-hitting studio albums. The band is a part of the so called "Big Four of Thrash" along with Metallica, Slayer and Anthrax. The history of the band started in 1983 in Los Angeles, California. It was formed by Dave Mustaine and David Ellefson, after Dave Mustaine was let go from Metallica. After some initial lineup changes, the band would be David Ellefson (bass guitar and back up vocals), Dve Mustaine (lead vocals, lead, rhythm, and acoustic guitars), Chris Poland (lead and rhythm guitars) and Gar Samuelson (drums). In 1985 the band released their first studio album " Killing Is My Business� and Business Is Good!" The group attracted the attention of Capitol Records and released "Peace Sells� but Who's Buying?" with them in 1986. Because of Mustaine's challenging personality and drug addictions, the lineup of the band frequently changed. Poland and Samuelson were replaced by Chuck Behler (drums and percussions) and Jeff Young (lead and rhythm guitars) in 1986. In 1989 two of the members were fired by Mustaine and for the next nine years, together with Mustaine and Ellefson, the lineup included Nick Menza (drums) and Marty Friedmen (guitars). The band released the albums "Rust in Peace," "Countdown to Extinction," "Youthanasia," and "Cryptic Writings." Then added drummer Jimmy DeGrasso for the album "Risk." Because of Mustaine's heavy health problems, Megadeth disbanded in 2002. In 2004, the band reconvened to release "The System Has Failed," with members Shawn Drover (drums), Dave Mustaine, Glen Drover (guitars) and James MacDonough (bass).In 2007 the band released "United Abominations," again with a new bassist James LoMenzo. The next year the band replaced Glen Drover with Chris Broderick and released the album "Endgame" in 2009. In 2011 the bend recorded "Thirteen," with new member Shawn Drover. The ever-evolving lineup is credited with giving Megadeth it's continually evolving sound on each studio release.
