Washington, DC, USA at
601 F St,
, often called the "Phone Booth", is located in downtown Washington, DC, in the Chinatown neighborhood. It was previously named MCI Center. The multi-purpose indoor sporting and entertainment arena opened on December 2, 1997. It is the home of the Washington Wizards NBA basketball team, the Washington Capitals NHL hockey team, the Washington Mystics WNBA basketball team and the Georgetown Hoyas NCAA basketball team. Annually, the BB&T Classic Basketball Tournament, The Harlem Globetrotters and the Washington International Horse Show are hosted at the Verizon Center. Previously it was home to the Washington Power NLL lacrosse team. Many notable performers including U2, Bon Jovi, Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, the Dalai Lama, Barbra Streisand and more have taken to the stage at the Verizon Center. "We did get [Houston Texans football] tickets from your website and they were great! We were in the upper level around the 40 yard line. Only disappointment was not being able to see the replays of the fight until we got home!!
Thanks again for your help. We'll be sure to keep [MyCityRocks] in mind for our next game."
