Imagination Movers is a child-themed rock band that was formed in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 2003 and whose members consists of longtime friends and neighbors Dave Poche, Scott Durbin, Rich Collins, and Scott Smith. The group started as a musical concept for a children's television show which was aired on WLAE-TV, a local New Orleans PBS affiliate. After building a large regional following behind the success of their educational children songs, The Movers sold over 100,000 copies of their self-released CDs and DVDs. In 2005, Disney took notice and would sign the band to Walt Disney Records and give them their own show of preschool programming on the Disney Channel and Disney Junior. They have garnered numerous national awards from such groups as Parents' Choice and the National Association of Parenting Publications (NAPPA).
