George Jones Tickets:

George Jones is an American country music singer. He was born in 1931 in Saratoga, Texas. He made his first steps in the music business in 1947 with the band of Eddie and Pearl at Beaumont's Playground. George Jones produced his first country hit in 1955 "Why Baby Why." The song peaked at number four on the Billboard country charts. His first album, "Grand Ole Opry's New Star," was released in 1957. Throughout the years George Jones released 67 studio albums, 26 collaborative albums, and 24 compilations. His last studio project was released in 2008, the album "Burn Your Playhouse Down - The Unreleased Duets." It peaked at number 15 on U.S. Billboard Top Country Albums and at number 79 on U.S. Billboard 200. The country legend has received almost every music award during his long career. George Jones was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1992, and received the 2002 Medal of Arts from President George W. Bush at a White House ceremony.
