Foreigner Tickets:

Foreigner is a British-American rock band. The group was formed in New York City in 1976 by veteran musicians Mick Jones and Ian McDonald, along with Lou Gramm (Louis Grammatico), Dennis Elliott, Al Greenwood, and Ed Gagliardi. Their debut album "Foreigner" was released in 1977 and sold more than four million copies in the United States. The record stayed in the top 20 for a year. The next year the success was repeated with the album "Double Vision," with sales of five million copies. In 1979 the band released the album "Head Games." Bassist Ed Gagliardi was replaced by Rick Wills, and in 1980 Al Greenwood and Ian McDonald were fired by Jones because of creative differences. Mick Jones wrote or co-wrote every Foreigner song and produced or co-produced every album. As a quartet, the band recorded the album "4" in 1981. The album spent more weeks on the Billboard chart at number 1 than any album released by AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, U2, The Rolling Stones, Genesis, Phil Collins, Eric Clapton or any other artist on Atlantic Records in their 60 year history. "Agent Provocateur" was released in 1984. Foreigner's leader and founder, Mick Jones, wrote the band's No. 1 worldwide hit "I Want To Know What Love Is." "Inside Information," "Unusual Heat," and "Mr. Moonlight" never achieved the success of their previous projects. In 2009 the band released the album "Can't Slow Down." The current lineup of the band includes Mick Jones on lead guitar, keyboards, bass, and vocals, Mark Schulman on drums and percussion, Thom Gimbel on guitar, saxophone, and flute, Jeff Pilson on bass, Kelly Hansen on vocals, and Michael Bluestein on keyboards and synthesizers. Foreigner's music has been performed and recorded by artists that cover the whole spectrum of popular music from Phish, Daughtry, Julio Iglesias, Mariah Carey, and Wynonna Judd. Foreigner has sixteen Top 30 hits.
