The Madison Square Garden is located in Manhattan, New York City, USA at 4 Pennsylvania Plaza, New York, NY 10121-0091 USA.

Madison Square Garden is an indoor venue located in Manhattan in New York City. The facility is the fourth such venue with that name and opened on February 11, 1968. Madison Square Garden is often referred to as Madison Square Garden IV, MSG or The Garden. The new building is constructed directly over the remaining portions of Pennsylvania Station. It is a multi-purpose venue that is the home of the New York Rangers NHL Hockey team, the New York Knicks NBA Basketball team, St. John's Red Storm NCAA Basketball team and the Big East Men's NCAA Basketball Tournament. The venue is also used for concerts, various other sporting events, the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Shows and has had many historical boxing matches including the first Joe Frazier vs. Muhammad Ali fight. Elton John holds the record for concert sell-outs at 62 performances, including the 60th performance on his 60th birthday on March 25, 2007. The stadium capacity for concerts is 20,000, basketball is 19,763, hockey is 18,200, wrestling is 22,292 and boxing is 20,789. The Theater at Madison Square Garden has a capacity of 5,600. The original construction cost was $123 million dollars and the first major renovation cost $200 million dollars.
