Celtic Woman Tickets:
Beautiful, mystical, and ethereal are just some of the adjectives used to describe the voices of Celtic Woman, the only the female Irish ensemble. The group formed in 2004, created by Sharon Brown and David Downes. The idea was to represent the values of Irish music in a contemporary way. Currently the ensemble's members consist of Lisa Kelly, Mairead Nesbitt, Chloe Agnew, and Lisa Lambe. The ensemble's debut album was released in 2005. It was named "Celtic Woman" and reached number one on Billboard World Chart and stayed there for 81 weeks.
"Celtic Woman: A Christmas Celebration" came out of the studio at the end of 2006 and replaced their debut album in the charts. In 2007 the ensemble was awarded European Border Breakers Award, which is awarded to artists who reach an audience outside of their own country. The same year they released their third studio album, "Celtic Woman: A New Journey. After a 2008, 88 city tour in the U.S., Celtic Woman released "Celtic Woman: The Greatest Journey," which the group followed up with their 2010 release "Celtic Woman: Songs from the Heart." In 2011 "Celtic Woman" surprised their fans with four projects: "Celtic Woman: Lullaby," "Celtic Woman: Believe," "Celtic Woman: An Irish Journey," and "Celtic Woman: A Celtic Christmas."
