The Allstate Arena is located in

It was renamed Allstate Arena after negotiations with Allstate Corporation developed into a contract that included naming rights and was signed on June 9, 1999. The facility is multi-purpose arena that can host sporting events (primarily basketball, football, and WWE), concerts, theatrical productions, conferences as well as other events.
The arena's premier event was a concert put on by Fleetwood Mac on March 14 and 15, 1980. Other performers who have made appearances include Elton John, AC/DC, Ozzy Ozbourne, Billy Joel, Van Halen, Tina Turner, Iron Maiden, Eric Clapton, U2, Metallica, Pink Floyd, Michael Jackson, Johnny Cash, Paul McCartney, Madonna, 311, Slipknot, Rammstein, Jane's Addiction, No Doubt, and many more. The Scorpions featured the arena in their music video Big City Nights (1985).
It is currently the home of the DePaul Blue Demons NCAA men's basketball team and has been since 1980, and their relationship with the venue runs so deep that the floor was named Ray and Marge Meyer Court after Ray Meyer, infamous coach for DePaul men's basketball from 1942 to 1984, and his wife. It has also the home of Chicago Rush AFL football team from 2001 to 2008 and then again returning in 2010 until today, Chicago wolves IHL/AHL hockey team since 1994 and Chicago Sky WNBA basketball team since 1994. It was the home of the Chicago Horizon MISL soccer team from 1980 to 1981, Chicago Sting MISL soccer team from 1984 to 1988, Chicago Bruisers AFL football team from 1987 to 1989 and Chicago Skyliners ABA basketball team from 2000 to 2002. It is a prime spot for WWE wrestling in the Chicago area and is tied with Madison Square Garden in New York City for having hosted WrestleMania three times; WrestleMania 2 (1986), WrestleMania 13 (1997) and WrestleMania 22 (2006).
The arena capacity is 18,500 for concerts, 17,500 for basketball, 16,692 for hockey and 16,143 for arena football. It was built at a cost of $20 million dollars.

"We really enjoyed the game and yes it did turn out to be a nail biter but thank goodness we pulled it through. Our seats were really great and the cushions were an added plus. I will keep you in mind should we need more tickets."
