Lotus Effect is a progressive rock back from Houston, Texas. The band consists of Dre Giles- Lead Vocals, Gabe Blog- Drums/Background Vocals, Ricki Marquez- Guitar/Background Vocals, and Vincent Fink - Bass/Background Vocals.
 
Lotus Effect was formed in 2008 and since has grown from an experimental progressive jam band to a progressive alternative rock ensemble. Their music has been compared to Muse, Incubus, Fall of Troy, At the Drive-In, Alice in Chains to Tool. They have a sound characterized by gritty guitar, blissful bass lines, complex rhythms and melodically aggressive vocals.
